4x linear enlargement: this is a 4-times enlargement of the two front zebras. If the entire frame were enlarged by this amount, it would be a 3x2-foot poster print. At this enlargement you can begin to see film grain. This indicates that a good 35-mm camera with 400-speed film is capable of producing a reasonable enlargement up to about 3x2 feet.
