1x linear enlargement: this is the original, full-frame photo. It was captured on Kodak 400-speed 35-mm negative film and scanned into the computer with a 4000-pixels/inch Nikon film scanner. The resulting raw image file is 5632 x 3712 pixels (21 Mpixels), which requires 63 MBytes of computer memory to store.
