This helicopter is making repeated trips between Kinsman Pond and Pinestead Farm Lodge (down where roads exist) to bring in new materials and take out demolition waste.

The on-site workers said reconstruction is a joint project of Appalachian Mountain Club and Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
