Seven of us (Betsy, Al, Ann, Dave R., Fred, Guy and Judy) hiked North Kinsman via the Lonesome Lake and Fishin' Jimmy trails in September 2007.

Below North Kinsman's summit ledge is Kinsman Pond, where a new shelter is being built.

Kinsman Pond is about four miles and 2000 vertical feet from any trailhead, hence the need for airlifting materials.
