Going up the Wentworth Trail in late afternoon, the wind sounded like a freight train and branchlets were falling all around me. After sunset, on the trail back down, the forest was peacefully quiet under a light rainfall. What a fabulous time to be in the mountains!

A rolling cloud bank engulfs the nearby mountains, while storm clouds seem to explode in the sky above.
