Mary Jane hikes across Mt. Eisenhower's summit cone, clad against the cold wind, in January 2006.
I like this surreal landscape that looks more like a moon walk than a hike in New Hampshire's Presidential mountains.
It was a crystal-clear day, such that Mt. Monroe seems a nearby rock pile, instead of its distant mountain self (two miles away).
Mt. Washington rises to the left (outside the frame), with Boott Spur to the right. Between the two, on the far side, is Tuckerman Ravine.
