winter hiker on Mount Eisenhower in New Hampshire

MJ crosses Mount Eisenhower's summit cone, clad against the cold wind, with Mount Monroe and Boott Spur in the background. It is a crystal-clear day, such that Mount Monroe seems a nearby rock pile, instead of its distant mountain self (two miles away). I like the surrealism of this photo, which almost looks like a walk on the moon!
