massive early-morning hot-air balloon launch at the Albuquerque Balloon Festival in New Mexico

Dave U. and Fred attended the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, New Mexico, USA, in October 2007. On Saturday morning some 700 hot-air balloons launch near simultaneously from the 365-acre park. The closest balloon in this photo is dangling a banner proposing marriage -- I'm sure it got the attention of one special nearby balloonist!
