Red-spotted Purple butterfly (Limenitis arthemis) in June on the trail to Neville Peak in southern NH

On the trail is a Red-spotted Purple butterfly (Limenitis arthemis). It is similar to the White Admiral (Limenitis arthemis arthemis) but missing the white stripe.
