Interior with Portraits painting by Thomas Le Clear at the Burchfield Penny Art Center in Buffalo, NY

In December 2019 we visit the Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo. As part of a temporary art exhibit is this painting by Thomas Le Clear (ca 1865): Interior with Portraits. I like the the not-so-happy face on the boy and the portrait photographer's rear-end-only depiction. A little humor here.
