| In Florence we visit the Cathedral where we marvel at its architecture. This postcard aerial view shows the main building plus its separate Bell Tower (tall and square) and Baptistry (round building in front). On our taxi ride from train station to hotel we pass right by the cathedral and I initially think we are driving on the sidewalk because the streets in this ancient city are so narrow. |
