I did a solo hike to Mt. Willard for sunset in mid December 2006.

Just before reaching the trailhead I stopped by the side of Route 302 for this gorgeous view of the Mount Washington Hotel and the Presidential Range (Jefferson, Clay and Washington) beyond.
