Between Carter Dome and Wildcat A I had to drop down 1000 ft into Carter Notch.

At Carter Lakes is this beautiful scene of pond lilies floating on the reflected mountain scene behind.

I hiked 11 miles in 8 hours and met 46 hikers on the trail (not TOO crowded for a mid-summer Sunday!).

The section of the Wildcat Ridge Trail from Peak E down to Pinkham was a lot of fun (glad I had my gloves)!
