Wildflowers grace the old lumber road, including these daisys growing next to an abandoned log.

Driving out the lumber road at dusk we were passed by a moose: she came out of the woods behind us, ran ahead of us, then went back into the woods. (Evidently she didn't think we were driving fast enough!)
