We broke trail from Webster to Jackson, playing hide-and-seek with white blazes on snow-covered trees. Took awhile.

On top of Mt. Jackson, Michelle let a gray jay have a piece of cookie -- with a picture-perfect view of Mt. Washington as a backdrop.
