Chuck H., Dick W. and Fred hiked The Traveler (Baxter State Park, Maine) in September 2008. We did a CCW loop over Peak of the Ridges (3254-ft), The Traveler (3541-ft) and North Traveler Mountain (3152-ft).

At the trailhead we enjoy this great early-morning view of South Branch Pond. Rising above the pond into a dispersing cloud is Peak of the Ridges.
