Four of us (Carl, Fred, Helen and Paul) hiked Mt. Tecumseh on the evening of the full moon in December 2005.

The Mad River flows past snow-covered boulders alongside Route 49 on the drive into Waterville Valley. Fresh snow and low-angled sun transform the scene into sensuous beauty.
