This particular footbridge (near "B" on the GPS track)
is in trouble as beaver work beneath is flooding the trail
(and enlarging the pond to the left). A sign gives this warning:
ATTENTION: CAUTION Pass at your own risk Beavers are actively building a dam in this location Please DO NOT disturb the dam or the beavers Be aware of flooding in this area and use caution when crossing Use a different route if the water is too high Conditions will change daily Admire the work of these amazing engineers |
