| I hike the Rocky Branch and Stairs Col trails, then bushwhack half a mile up to the East Stairs summit. Rocky Branch Shelter #1, located at the Stairs Col Trail junction, isn't much beyond roof and fireplace -- although surely appreciated on a day like this. |
