White Admiral (Limenitis arthemis arthemis) butterflies in June mobbing the dirt road at Snow Mountain near Chain of Ponds in Maine

We drive in the Penobscot Indian Nation access road, hike ATV paths to Snow Mountain Pond, then follow the old lookout tower trail to the summit. The access road travel is about 5 miles one-way. The hike is about 7 miles round-trip. Back at our car, we find these White Admiral butterflies mobbing the dirt road.
