The snowmobile trail provided an unexpectedly easy route to within a mile of the summit. The rest of the way was harder -- through steep, and at times thick, woods.
One advantage of the "steep" part is this view southeast into Nash Stream Forest over a blowdown area just below the summit. Long Mountain is to the left, above Stratford Bog Pond, and the Percy Peaks are to the right.
