| This bushwhack is through fairly typical White Mountains terrain: some open, some thick woods; some gentle, some steep slopes. In a couple spots we pass through unusual woods, such as these. We park at a picnic area on Route 49, hike up to Bald Knob, cross the ridge to Sachem Peak, then complete a triangle-third-side return to our car. |
