bushwhackers head up a skidder road on the way to Cave Mountain

We whacked from Route 26 through heavily lumbered woods (photo) to Cave Mtn.

From Cave we whacked the ridge to Rice Mtn. through mostly open woods, then down to Route 26 and a short road walk back to our car.
