hiker on a snowy trail from Mount Pierce to Mount Eisenhower in New Hampshire

Dick W., Fred and Tom traversed Mount Pierce (4310-ft; also called Mount Clinton) and Mount Eisenhower (4780-ft; White Mountains, NH) via the Crawford and Edmands paths in April 2002. Dick heads out across the ridge toward Eisenhower. We boot it all the way up; but need crampons and snowshoes to get down Edmands Path (the trail is poorly marked for winter and we wind up bushwhacking parallel to one section).
