sinister view from Peak Above the Nubble Mountain in New Hampshire

Chuck H. and Fred did a bushwhack to Peak Above the Nubble in September 2005. We are joined by Steve, a solo hiker on the same quest. Starting at the lumber road with three boulders off Haystack Road, we whack through open woods and thick birch saplings. It takes us 7 hours to complete the 5-mile round-trip hike. The foggy, overcast day produces a stark, almost-black-and-white view from the summit outlook.
