Carpet Bugle (Ajuga reptans)

Volunteering on the edge of my lawn at Nashua in May 2013 is Carpet Bugle (Ajuga reptans). The distinctive flowers are small, perhaps 1/3 inch across. This plant is native to Europe and is technically a garden flower here. But it has naturalized itself, so to me it is now a New Hampshire wildflower.
