Fifteen of us (Mitch, Hal, Bill, Dan, Doug, Ed, Fred, Helen, Larry, Leon, Linda, Nancy, Rebecca, Rick and Tom) hiked Moosilauke (4802-ft; White Mountains, NH) via the Beaver Brook Trail in May 2003.
The upper trail was a snowpack tightrope: center trail was well packed and supportive, but four inches to either side was thigh-deep-post-hole territory.
Tom, Hal and Larry chat at trailside next to the falls.
