I put the two GPS tools on the ground and took this photo with the Olympus camera.
The iPhone screen is MUCH bigger and clearer.
So, it looks like my pack on future hikes will be lighter and simpler: no Olympus phone and case, and no Garmin GPS and case. And, I checked the iPhone battery usage: just 13% for 1 1/2 hours and 3 1/2 miles (so potentially good for a hike as long as 11 hours and 26 miles). Modern technology is amazing! |
