Len and Fred hiked Mt. Major for sunset in January 2005.

Temperature near zero turned the wet trail into boiler-plate ice, with a couple inches of covering snow.

Len is wearing full winter gear: multiple clothing layers for the cold (and crampons soon hereafter).
