| Rebecca enjoys the fine summit conditions during the calm before an incoming storm (note the haze in the distance). The storm causes a temperature inversion: at the trailhead it is in the teens, but at the top it is a relatively balmy 35 F. Fortunately, we make the drive home before the precipitation starts. |
