English Ivy (Hedera helix) in September at Rockport in eastern Massachusetts

At water's edge I find English Ivy (Hedera helix) in bloom. A neat find, since this vine takes forever to reach maturity. Its maple-shaped leaves are the juvenile form commonly seen; diamond-shaped leaves (lower left = half of one) are mature. Flowers bloom in fall (now).
