NH 52 With-A-View Summary List

The following text gives location and trail information for all the peaks on the "52 With-A-View" list.
All peaks are located in northern New Hampshire (north of Lake Winnipesaukee), except Cardigan, Kearsarge and Monadnock.
Each hike is described in the AMC White Mountain Guide, unless otherwise noted.
  1. Avalon -- Located west of Route 302 at the north end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via the Avalon Trail.
  2. Baldface, North -- Located west of Route 113 at the south end of Evans Notch (near AMC Cold River Camp). Hike is 10 miles in 7 hours (loop trip over both North and South peaks) via Baldface Circle Trail.
  3. Baldface, South -- Located west of Route 113 at the south end of Evans Notch (near AMC Cold River Camp). Hike is 10 miles in 7 hours (loop trip over both North and South peaks) via Baldface Circle Trail.
  4. Black -- Located south of Route 116 (west of Mt. Moosilauke). Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Black Mtn. Trail.
  5. Black (new addition to list) -- Located off Route 16 (near Jackson). Hike is 3 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Black Mtn. Ski Trail.
  6. Blueberry -- Located north of Route 25 (west of Mt. Moosilauke). Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Blueberry Mtn. Trail.
  7. Cardigan -- Located west of Bristol (west of Newfound Lake). Hike is 5 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Clark Trail. NOT included in the AMC White Mountain Guide; instead use the AMC Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide.
  8. Carr (now deleted from list) -- Located west of Stinson Lake (south of Mt. Moosilauke). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Carr Mtn. Trail.
  9. Cherry - Owl's Head -- Located east of Route 115 (above Twin Mountain). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Cherry Mtn. Trail.
  10. Chocorua -- Located south of Kancamagus Highway (west of Conway). Hike is 7 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Champney Falls Trail.
  11. Crawford -- Located east of Route 302 at the south end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Davis Path.
  12. Cube -- Located west of Plymouth (south of Route 25A) near the NH-Vermont border. Hike is 7 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Mt. Cube Trail.
  13. Dickey - Welch -- Located north of Route 49 (on the way to Waterville Valley Ski Area). Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Welch-Dickey Loop Trail.
  14. Doublehead -- Located east of Jackson (off Dundee Road). Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Old Path.
  15. Eagle Crag - Meader -- Located west of Route 113 (south of Evans Notch, near Baldface Mt.). Hike is 9 miles in 5 hours (loop trip) via Mt. Meader Trail.
  16. Eastman -- Located west of Route 113 at the south end of Evans Notch (near AMC Cold River Camp). Hike is 9 miles in 6 hours (round trip) via Slippery Brook Trail.
  17. Hayes -- Located north of Gorham. Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Centennial Trail.
  18. Hedgehog -- Located south of the Kancamagus Highway, across from Passaconaway Campground. Hike is 5 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via UNH Trail.
  19. Hibbard -- Located north of Wonalancet (off Route 113A, near Mt. Passaconaway). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Wonalancet Range Trail.
  20. Horn -- Located west of Berlin (near Mt. Cabot). Hike is 9 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Unknown Pond Trail.
  21. Imp Face -- Located east of Route 16 (south of Gorham). Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Imp Trail.
  22. Iron -- Located west of Jackson (off Route 16, below Pinkham Notch). Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Iron Mountain Trail.
  23. Israel -- Located north of Squam Lake (off Route 113). Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Wentworth Trail.
  24. Jennings -- Located south of Waterville Valley Ski Area (off Route 49, adjacent to Sandwich Dome). Hike is 5 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Sandwich Mtn. Trail.
  25. Kearsarge -- Located west of Bristol (west of Newfound Lake). Hike is 2 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Wilmot Trail. NOT included in the AMC White Mountain Guide; instead use the AMC Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide (or Fifty More Hikes in New Hampshire by Daniel Doan).
  26. Kearsarge North -- Located northeast of North Conway (off Route 16). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Mt. Kearsarge North Trail.
  27. Magalloway -- Located in the far north (east of First Connecticut Lake and Route 3). Hike is 2 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Mt. Magalloway Trail.
  28. Moat, North -- Located west of North Conway (west off Route 16) near Echo Lake State Park. Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Moat Mtn. Trail.
  29. Moat, South -- Located west of North Conway (west off Route 16) near Echo Lake State Park. Hike is 5 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Moat Mtn. Trail.
  30. Monadnock -- Located south of Dublin. Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via White Dot Trail. NOT included in the AMC White Mountain Guide; instead use the AMC Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide.
  31. Parker -- Located north of Bartlett (off Route 302, below Crawford Notch). Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Mt. Langdon Trail.
  32. Paugus -- Located north of Wonalancet (off Route 113A, between Mt. Passaconaway and Mt. Chocorua). Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Cabin Trail.
  33. Pemigewasset -- Located west of Route 93 in Franconia Notch (near The Flume). Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Mt. Pemigewasset Trail.
  34. Percy, North -- Located north of Groveton (north of Route 110) in Nash Stream Forest. Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Percy Peaks Trail.
  35. Potash -- Located south of the Kancamagus Highway, across from Passaconaway Campground. Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Mt. Potash Trail.
  36. Resolution -- Located east of Route 302 at the south end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Davis Path.
  37. Royce, West -- Located west of Route 113 (west of Evans Notch, north of Baldface Mt.). Hike is 5 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via East Royce Trail.
  38. Sandwich Dome -- Located south of Waterville Valley Ski Area (off Route 49, in the Sandwich Range Wilderness). Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Sandwich Mt. Trail.
  39. Shaw -- Located north of Tuftonboro (north of Route 171) near Castle in the Clouds. Hike is 7 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Mt. Shaw Trail. NOT included in the AMC White Mountain Guide; instead use the AMC Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide.
  40. Shelburne Moriah -- Located southeast of Gorham (south of Route 2). Hike is 11 miles in 8 hours (round trip) via Rattle River Trail.
  41. Sister, Middle -- Located west of Conway (west off Route 16), near Mt. Chocorua. Hike is 7 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Middle Sister Trail.
  42. Smarts -- Located west of Plymouth (south of Route 25A) near the NH-Vermont border. Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Lambert Ridge Trail.
  43. Square Ledge -- Located south of the Kancamagus Highway, across from Passaconaway Campground. Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Oliverian Brook Trail.
  44. Stairs -- Located east of Route 302 at the south end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 8 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Davis Path.
  45. Starr King -- Located north of Jefferson (north of Route 2). Hike is 5 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Starr King Trail.
  46. Stinson -- Located south of Stinson Lake (south of Mt. Moosilauke). Hike is 4 miles in 3 hours (round trip) via Stinson Mt. Trail.
  47. Success -- Located east of Berlin (off Success Pond Road). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Success Trail.
  48. Sugarloaf -- Located north of Groveton (east of Route 3). Hike is 4 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Sugarloaf Trail.
  49. Sugarloaf, Middle -- Located south of Route 302 (between Twin Mountain and Zealand Notch). Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Sugarloaf Trail.
  50. Tremont -- Located south of Bartlett (off Route 302, south of Crawford Notch). Hike is 6 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Mt. Tremont Trail.
  51. Webster -- Located east of Route 302 at the north end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 5 miles in 4 hours (round trip) via Webster-Jackson Trail.
  52. Willard -- Located west of Route 302 at the north end of Crawford Notch. Hike is 3 miles in 2 hours (round trip) via Mt. Willard Trail.
  53. Wolf -- Located north of Route 112 (south of Mt. Kinsman). Hike is 10 miles in 5 hours (round trip) via Kinsman Ridge Trail.
