Len, Tom and Fred hiked Franconia Ridge from Little Haystack to Lafayette in April 2004. Looking north on our way to Mt. Lafayette we have a great view of Mt. Garfield, with the Pilot Range in the far distance. We only met three other hikers (on a weekday in early spring), despite beautiful weather and a popular trail.
