fall foliage plus early snow on the trail to Mount Lafayette

Nine of us (Carl, Jadwiga, Bob, Dave B., Fred, Irene, Jane, John and Marianne) hiked Lafayette in October 2005 via the Skookumchuck Trail.

At low elevation fall and winter are battling for supremacy.
