Michelle K. and Fred hiked Pico Peak (3957-ft) and Killington Peak (4235-ft; Vermont) via the Long Trail in July 2002.

The day is hazy, hot and humid, with little visibility beyond Killington's gondola -- which is providing a lift to a few hikers and bikers. The peak restaurant is also open, but uncrowded on a Tuesday.
