Eighteen of us (Carl, Al, Bruce, Chris(2), Chuck, Dan, Dave A., Dave S., Ed, Erica, Fred, Jane, Marianne, Renae, Steve, Sue and Victoria) hiked Jefferson in late December 2006.

Sunlight slips past incoming clouds to glisten off Presidential snow. On the near horizon is Mt. Clay (left) and the northern Presidential ridge: Mt. Monroe (tallest peak) to Mt. Eisenhower (under the sun flare). Mt. Jefferson's summit cone rises to the right. Eerie lighting on this, the shortest day of the year!
