| Joni, Mark, Tom H., Larry, Jim, Fred, and Tom's dog "Madison" did a hike up Mount Jefferson (5712-ft, White Mountains, NH) on the last weekend in December 2001. We go up Lowe's Path (which is well trodden) and Randolph Path (which requires us to break trail through snow drifts). Joni, Larry and Jim check the trail map near Edmands Col. The weird arctic landscape makes us feel as though we are on another planet! And we are about to hike up into cloud cover... |
