| In the woods I photograph this cute fellow -- I like his complex antennae and delicate wing pattern. It is a Hemlock Looper (Lambdina fiscellaria), the moth of the infamous inch-worm that damages hemlock, fir and spruce; so their abundance here is not a good omen for the forest. |
