Mount Hitchcock South Peak
Hike to Mount Hitchcock South Peak and back:
3500 feet high (2000 feet up)
6 miles 7 hours (difficult)
via bushwhack

Here's my hike route:
- follow an old logging road clockwise for about 1 mile
- then bushwhack up the valley about 2 miles to the summit
Bad Note: this is the most frustrating bushwhack
I have ever done, with lots of nasty thick woods.
Back at the car my T-shirt was torn to shreds.
(Fortunately, most NH bushwhacks are nicer!)
