Keith and Fred bid a bushwhack to Mt. Hitchcock North (3194-ft; White Mountains, NH) in May 2008.

We hiked the Pemi East Side Trail (photo) for about 2 miles then bushwhacked from the west to the summit.

The best route (mostly open woods) is to spiral in clockwise, arriving at the peak from the northwest.
