Flesh Fly (Sarcophaga spp.) in June on Fred's daypack on the summit of Mount Greylock in western Massachusetts

The summit is mobbed by Flesh Flies (Sarcophaga spp.) today. They land on everything that sits still for a few seconds, including my backpack. Fortunately for us, they don't bite.
