Smooth Sumac (Rhus glabra)

Smooth Sumac (Rhus glabra) is most easily distinguished from the more common Staghorn Sumac by being hairless (its branchlets do NOT look like a stag's horn in velvet). Next month (July) this shrub will be in fruit.
