Dick and Fred bushwhacked to Grass Mountain (3109-ft) and Spruce Peak (3060-ft; southwest Vermont) on a rainy day in October 2010, where we encounter some water-crossing difficulty.

On the way down we bushwhack -- abandoning the road -- to avoid four of these crossings.
