Len and Fred did a bushwhack to Garfield Ridge East Peak (3590-ft) and West Peak (3667-ft; White Mountains, NH) in September 2005. We hiked to the ridge via Gale River Trail. East Peak is 1/4 mile west on the Garfield Ridge Trail; West Peak is another mile farther. Each peak is a short bushwhack south of the ridge trail.
Mt. Garfield dominates the western horizon with West Peak in the foreground, as seen from the ledge outlook on East Peak.
