I did a solo bushwhack to The Fool Killer (3548-ft; White Mountains, NH) in September 2005. I hiked 4 miles up the Sabbaday Brook Trail, then bushwhacked a half mile to the summit. (The bushwhack, through mostly open woods, took me 1 1/2 hours round trip.)

I stopped for a photo at Sabbaday Falls, located near the start of Sabbaday Brook Trail.
