Chuck, Dave S., Fred and Tom hiked East Osceola (4156-ft) and Mt. Osceola (4340-ft; White Mountains, NH in December 2001.

We took the Greeley Ponds and Mt. Osceola trails, starting at the Kancamagus trailhead.

In the photo to the left, Tom hikes down what the AMC Guide describes as an "extremely rough and steep" portion of the trail.
