Ed adjusts his boots on top of Mt. Davis. The 360-degree panoramic view from this remote peak gives the feeling of "being in the wilderness".

This was a challenging hike: 17 tough miles in 9 hours. Fortunately, it was a super day: amazingly cool for July (in the 50's) with a bug-clearing wind (40 mph on the ridge).
