Dick and Fred bushwhacked Crystal Mtn. NW Peak (3230-ft) and Mt. Pisgah (3081-ft; way-north NH) in July 2009. At hike start in the middle of nowhere we change into boots (not high enough -- month-long rain has turned these mountain slopes into swamps!)
