From the summit of Crystal NW there is a limited through-the-trees view toward Lake Francis. And, yes, that ominous cloud wound up soaking us. What weird weather: this afternoon the temperature plunged to 50 F (in mid-July!).

Except for lots of water, the terrain to both peaks was mostly friendly.
