Dick W. and Fred hiked Craney Hill (1402-ft; Henniker, NH) in April 2006.

The summit fire tower has heavy-duty fencing, barbed wire and an uninviting sign saying "Closed, no trespassing, keep out" -- a pretty clear message.

According to Henniker town hall, the tower is open only during fall foliage season, when an escort is present.
